Meet Phyllis
Connecting Systems and Stakeholders
I am a Systems-Minded Connector with the ability to mobilize stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to create solutions. I am a seasoned leader with expertise in sustainable program development and assessment. I bring energy and curiosity, and I embrace the complexity of the shared human experience.
I hold a Masters of Public Health (MPH) / Maternal Child Health track from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelors degree in Sociology/Human Needs and Global Resources (HNGR) from Wheaton College, IL. I have certifications in Public Health Informatics (University of Illinois at Chicago-2011), Healthcare Leadership Advancement (Cornell University/Healthcare Association of NY-2019), and Community Health Worker Core Competencies (CoNECT/D’Youville College-2021).
My cross-cultural experiences include immersion experiences in rural Jamaica as an elementary school community liaison (1991-1993) and in Khulna, Bangladesh, conducting a nutrition program evaluation (1996).

Bridging Gaps, Building Better Systems
Disconnects are everywhere, within organizations, across partnerships, and between the systems meant to serve us. That’s where I come in. As a systems-minded connector, I help organizations like yours improve internal processes, engage the right stakeholders, and co-create sustainable, effective programs. Together, we uncover your team’s strengths and align them with your mission, turning complexity into clarity and connection.
